Gopalpur is a town and a Notified Area Council on the Bay of Bengal coast in Ganjam District in the southern part of Odisha, India. Once a commercial port under the British era, it is now a famous sea beach and tranquil tourist destination situated around 15 km from Berhampur city.
Gopalpur might not be the most crowded beach destination in Odisha as Puri takes that crown, but it possesses the most picturesque and cleanest seashores.
